St. Peter Claver School

The High School of St. Thomas More sponsors Pendo Blasio (pictured at right) at St. Peter Claver School (located in Korogwe, Tanzania, see map below). Pendo, which means Love in Swahili, has just finished 4th grade and is very thankful to the students at STM for receiving such a good Catholic education.

We have also been working on a new Angel Home orphanage, which is nearly completed. Part of the Lenten project is to raise money for a water system for the orphanage. Below are pictures of some of the orphans sponsored at St. Peter Claver School, and the new orphanage building. Two of the pictured children are sponsored by families at STM. The girl in the green shirt is Lydia Patrick sponsored by Holy Cross parish. Sponsoring children at St. Peter Claver makes a huge difference in their lives for a brighter future.
